Sodium polyacrylate, also known as waterlock, is a sodium salt of  and has broad applications in consumer products. This super-absorbent polymer (SAP) has the ability to absorb 100 to 1000 times its mass in water. It is widely used in industrial and sanitary fields. For example: cable water blocking powder, ice pack, flood control bag, artificial snow, oil drilling fluid, sanitary napkins, diapers, etc.

1.In the field of water treatment, sodium polyacrylate is widely used as a flocculant, dispersant and scale inhibitor in the purification of tap water, industrial wastewater treatment and circulating cooling water systems.
