AEO-4, AEO-7 and AEO-9 are nonionic surfactants, full name Fatty Alcohol Polyoxyethylene Ether. The numbers 4, 7 and 9 represent the number of  (EO) units. They are widely used in detergent, cosmetics, textile and industrial cleaning due to their good emulsifying, cleaning, wetting and dispersing properties. Non-toxic, low-irritation and biodegradable, easy to transport as non-dangerous goods.
